for reference. Depending on add-ons, possible damage, etc., you can add to or subtract from your asking price. But the most important thing to do before selling/disposing of your Mac (or iPhone, iPad, etc.) is to TURN OFF Find My in settings.
Another good place to check is everyman.com. They list an estimated price for all old Macs on the bottom of the spec sheets. I find their pricing a little high., so I would usually recommend asking for about 75% of what they suggest, and then see what you get offered.
