Hello Helpers,
My Mac shows two screens that overlap, By clicking one can choose which one comes to the foreground. The wallpaper is the same, One screen is just slightly smaller than the other (which covers the whole screen space) and contains known icons. But when I open Finder or a document the bigger screen comes to the foreground and the smaller screen with the icons disappears, but the icons reappear with the smaller screen if it is called for later. What can I do to get rid of this strange behaviour?
Another thing:
In trying to repair the problem, at some later stage I put icon Desktop into the Dock. I cannot get it off the Dock now without blocking the Mac, so I leave it for the moment. Might there be a relation with the previous problem?
MacBook Air M1 2020
macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
Thanks for your help, Dirk
