SanDisk Flash Drives Not Recognized

You are the man, Cory! On the Mac Mini, the two files you mentioned were present (along with the file entitled SMARTLib.plugin). I manually removed the two you mentioned, rebooted the mini, and now, both flash drives mount fine! What a needle in the haystack!
