Automator messed up my folders...

wow i never knew it was so hard to book a place at the apple store you av to do it on the same day as u want to go....
i still avent fixed it but i reallised if i delete a file it will un duplictate the mem.
so instead of like 100mb of mem i now have 1.2G....its really strange...

Have you been able to book a place ? Or are you okay as you are ?

I can have a look at your Mac for you...remotely via the Internet to see try and see what's happened to it if you want !

However, because of your age I would need to speak/email to one of your Parents/Guardian to let them know about the process.

i haven't been able to get a place in the apple store yet. how would you be able to look at my computer with me having to write about it?

Hi there,

There are numerous ways of doing this...

The easiest is for me to use something such as Timbuktu.

This software allows me to remotely view/interact/use a remote Mac or PC.

This is software that I use in my 'real world work'...

Timbuktu would need to be installed on your computer...that can be done remotely.

Then you would need to change a couple of settings in your Modem/Firewall depending on how you have it set up.

Then you would turn 'on' remote access...and I would 'dial' in...

I would then see your screen and be able to 'operate' your computer as though I was in the room with you...you would be able to watch everything that was happening. You would see the mouse moving etc...

As I said before I could only do this with consent of your parents.

I have done this before for a few members on here, it was the easiest way of fixing their problems.

Yes, I can put it on your Mac remotely you just need to change a few settings on your Mac.
