Yosemite: Photo icons impossibly small when opened on photoshop but OK in finder

The display font on my screen is small. I was able to increase the photo icon size in Finder using command J, but when I brought the same photo folder (not in iPhoto) to open in photoshop the icons were impossible to see. Any suggestions?
