Yosemite converted most videos to MPlayerOSX

The conversion scrambled the contents of the Video_TS folders, some titles disappeared plus many other problems. On a video with several segments, MPlayerOSX will only play the segment that was selected, not all in the sequence. Is there way to unscrew this?

Hello and welcome.

It shouldn't have converted them, only reassigned them to be opened by MPlayer OSX by default. You should be able to right-click/Control-click on the movie files and open them with one of the apps listed in the contextual menu that appears instead of MPlayer.

Also, you could download and open them with VLC media player, which is pretty much the best open source media player around.
