Yahoo Searchsafe?

Hi,
I'm using a Mac 21.5 with High Sierra v10.13.6, and Safari 12.0. I can not seem to get rid of search.safefinderformac window. Has anyone successfully and permanently removed this? My homepage is pointed to MSN, and it has not changed.

Excellent suggestion! If, however, that does not work, try ClamXav. It is excellent at finding malware/adware, etc. It is available from here:

https://www.clamxav.com/

Note that you can use it in trial mode. If you do use it, first let it download the latest virus definitions. Then, let it scan the "top level" of your drive. That will take some time, but better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the suggestion...I did in fact download malwarebytes, in addition to Adguard, and all is well!
