Hi guys, I got a work macbook and there is a company admin account on it that I cannot access. I do have user account but cannot install apps. (makes sense from an IT perspective).

I got a time machine backup from my old work mac where I had admin rights. I used to just connect my external harddrive and do a fresh installation.
However, if I do that on my new Mac, IT would probably see that, because I would delete both accounts.

Is there a way to install my old system in parallel?

Cheers,
Sven

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, we do not condone/support bypassing any security software/policies on devices not owned by the end-user, as that can actually lead to termination or legal action.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
