Hello and welcome.

-Which exact model Mac?
-Which version of OS X?
-Have you tried Option-R or just the R key to startup to Internet Recovery?

Besides the things Cory asked for, need some more information:

1. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, from a software perspective? You actually can do a good amount of disk cleanup on your own, and there are some excellent programs out there (both free and not free) that can help you.

2. Are you making backups to an external device? That is critical.

3. How are you making posts here? Do you have access to another Mac? If you do, what exact model is it?

So it's a mac pro 1 1 upgraded to 10.10.5 on a ssd
It was working fine but I Think i did something with the root profile. I've tried booting with r and cmd r but goes straight to the login screeb

OK...a few more questions:

-mac pro 1 1 - do you mean Mac Pro 1,1 or MacBook Pro 1,1?
-Have you tried just holding Option key down during startup?
-Have you tried holding the C key down during startup?

Also, as I asked above (really displeased when my questions do not get answered), are you making backups to an external device?

Also, if it is a Mac Pro 1.1, the "highest" OS one could use with that machine was OS 10.7.5. I used to own such a Mac, and I do remember seeing some "hacks" about getting more recent ver5sions of the Mac OS to run on the machine, but they seemed "dubious", at best.
