Hi guys
Im a newbie to the Mac operating system, so please be kind.
I am trying to set up a mac to print to an HP photosmart B3850 printer through a wireless print server, the mac when plugged via usb can print with out any problems and appears to be using an HP inkjet 4.1 driver when i run through the printer setup utility.
However when i go through the utility and use the wireless print server i am unable to select that driver from the list.
This all works fine from windows, and the Mac can see the "apple talk" enabled print server, i have selected a few generic drivers but it seems that these just cause the printer to print a nonsensical message followed by feeding the rest of the sheets of paper.
I believe the operating system version is OSX 10.4 but am not 100% sure of this
