Wireless mouse

My wireless mouse freezes every time the computer shuts down. I have it in wake up mode--doesn't move. I have to shut computer down manually and then when it boots back up it works. Yesterday I was excited because I charged up my old wireless mouse and it seemed to work no problem --today bluetooth cannot find mouse. Any help would be great.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Which brand/model are the Bluetooth mice you are using?
-Do you have a USB mouse as well to test with?
-Do you have a Bluetooth keyboard as well?
-Do other Bluetooth devices work without issue?

Hi-Thanks for replying-Mac is 2017 21"
Im running BIG SUR 11.4
Apple Magic Mouse 2------I have two thinking the mouse was the problem
No USB Mouse
Wireless keyboard works well
Any help would be useful
