I have an IMac G3 that is running OS X, which needs to be hooked up to the Internet. No direct line is available, so I'm going to network it with the other computers in the office. I wanted to know what networking card is best i.e. Airport Extreme Card, Wireless PCI Card. It would be a big help for some feedback

what kind of imac do you have ?
hopefully a slot loader because if you dont you can forget about airport they dont have internal support for airport

also nix a pc card imacs dont have room for that they dont even have the slots

edit :
to make it more simple

if your imac has a cd tray you need to pull out
you can use an airport card these are the first imacs and they have no airport connection or the room for one
for these models all the expansion you have are the usb plugs

if you can push the cdrom in a slot then you can use a airport card
..unless its the 350 mhz one then you cant

There are a number of Wireless Network USB "cards" that probably can help getting a Wireless connection if he computer can't get one installed internally. Other people on here would have to tell which ones are compatible with macs though, as I have no idea.
