Win Photoshop be used with a mac

I was wondering if you could use a windows version of Adobe photoshop cs with a mac. I have an imac with version 10.4.11 OS x if that helps.

yes, but...you'll have to run bootcamp or a similar program that allows you to run windows xp on your mac. i tried to use my pc version of cs3 on my macbook and it ran ok about as fast as it does on my pc...but i installed cs3 for the mac and i am much happier now...bad experience with crashing pc...ugg

Is bootcamp expensive and do I need to have a version of windows operating system xp or vista also?

Also if i bought the upgrade to photoshop cs3 for mac would that work?
