Why are some 4mp videos not compatible with QuickTime player when transferring to an ExFat USB stick?

I have downloaded some 4Mp videos on my iMac, but some are not transfering to a ExFat 1.05 TB usb stick

Some are transfering ok, but some are saying they are not compatible with QuickTime player. They are ok on the mac and have tried downloading the file again thinking they maybe corrupt. But I'm getting the same result . I am totally baffled! Any ideas?
