What does “utilities/terminal/system_profiler/command not found” mean?

I have a 2012 iMac that I am working on but I am not very proficient with software issues. I want to know what this means and how to fix it, if possible. Thanks

When did the error come up?
It could occur if a command was mistyped or it could be a corrupted or incomplete $PATH, or the command has been deleted.
