Webkit damaged/missing causing software to malfunction

A lot of software stopped working because of this....

Safari wont run, email wont run, widgets fail, and software updates doesnt open...
Probably more apps are affected....

Just a guess, but maybe you could download the WebKit nightly build. The link to locate it is http://developer.apple.com/opensource/internet/nightlywebkit.html
I've never had that problem, so I'm not quite sure what would cause that.
Otherwise, my guess is that you'll need to do an archive-and-install from the system os disc...
