Warning alert to PC users

Two PC users with whom I correspond tell me that when they receive messages from me (sometimes) they appear in red with a warning alert. Can someone tell me why this is?

Hard to say, sounds like something only relating to PC's and their respective Anti-Virus protection, if applicable. Being a Mac forum, we aren't usually able to diagnose PC errors or warnings, but you never know your luck!

Thanks for that Spawn_Dooley. Interestingly both my correspondents use Norton anti-virus, so I shall suggest that they both check their preferences.
