Hi there, I was planning on using bootcamp to run windows on a new MacBook Retina (2013) and I'm using Corsair Flash Voyage GT 3.0 32GB and after installing the windows files to the usb and the system had rebooted I got the message "No bootable device found". It seems to have installed in a second level of the USB which may be my fault as it was encrypted but now when I try to use the USB, after typing in my password, it gives me access to the WININSTALL area but then the password box stays open and doesn't accept anything. Yet I can still write / read from WININSTALL. The problem is I can't erase the USB or do anything to it in disk utility. When I try to repair I also get the mesage "Repairing volume failed: Unrecognized file system." When I try to erase the message is "Disk encryption failed with error: Invalid Request."

I have tried a variety of terminal commands but to no avail, does anybody have any idea what's happened?

Thanks in advance!

my fault as it was encrypted
once you are in this zone there is nothing we can do, you will need to take it to Apple, you may even find you have to replace the drive. The Encryption happens at such a low level there is no getting around it.

Thank you for your reply, that's a bit of a bummer. I'm just confused as to why my password gives me access to what appears to be a partition yet it still requires another password afterwards. Hopefully Corsair's warranty will cover this.

Yep, I would only advise using it if your employer makes you. If you have content you wish to keep locked away use an Encrypted Disk Image for those files, then if something goes wrong you can just trash that image and all is still good on your Mac.
