URGENT Help. Crazy talk Mac!

I have owned my mac for a few week and I last used it 2 days ago and it was working fine. When I turned it on this evening, a lot of computer jargon popped up with stuff such as "debugger: <panic>" and a message telling me to hold the power button to turn it off and then turn it on again. I have done this 5 times and it's not gotten me anywhere and I need to use it ASAP.
I realise I may have to take it in but there's no way I can do that for weeks. Please help if you can.

It is very important that your Mac goes in for service. If it's only 2 weeks old then it will be under AppleCare.

I was afraid of that. I shan't be able to get it serviced for a while.
