Upgraded to 10.12.4 a couple of days ago, I was real leery, the last 'upgrade' forced me to format the HD. Now it seems OK, but the latest upgrade has messed with the USB ports. When the machine goes to black screen, after who knows how long after the screen saver, it turns off the USB ports. The Kindle won't charge, the USB hub goes dark, etc. I've looked, but can't find any relevant settings. I guess I'll turn off the screen saver and leave the monitor on 24/7, as all 3 computers stay on 24/7.

Suggestions?
Thanx

Apple help solved the problem. Reset the SMC (system management controller). Shut it down, unplug it, wait 15 sec, plug it back it, wait 5 sec.... voila - fixed, I think.
