Update Mac OS

Hey All,

I am currently running Version 10.5.8 and would love to catch up to the latest Mac OS. I can't seem to find OS 10.6 for sale anywhere (I am not able to access the mac app store on my computer since my OS is too out of date). Any tips on where to purchase the software?
