Hi ,

I have had a mac g4 osx for around 2 years now and it worked perfectly for the first year. Then i stopped using it for a few days but when i came back to turn it on it powered up but there was nothing on the moniter. I tried switching monitors and there was no change so i took it to an expert and got it fixed. He replaiced a memory chip that the mac didn't like or something like that.

Anyway it was fine again until i moved house and have recently found that it doesn't even power up this time.

Im not greatly clued up on the workings of my mac so any help would be apreciated.

Thanks

Hi there and welcome,

It's quite tricky to diagnose these things remotely...

Does nothing happen at all ?

Have you checked the fuse in the plug ?

Does it make any sound at all ? Do any lights come on ?

What model G4 is it ?

regards

Ric
