Uninstall bootcamp partition

I downloaded the bootcamp assistant off the internet, and created the partition. I didn't realize you needed a pc disk (dumb I know) in order to make the mac side work. I thought maybe deleting the bootcamp application would delete the partition (also dumb). Needless to say it didn't. Now I can't uninstall this damn partition because I don't have the bootcamp assistant and I can't find anywhere to redownload the assistant. The download doesn't work. Please someone help be erase this stupid thing with out using the assistant because I don't have it. My mac version is 10.6.7.

In your Utilities Folder there is an App called Disk Utility.

I know about disk utility, but I don't know how to uninstall the partition.

There is a partion called bootcamp but when I click in and click erase nothing happens.
