1. Restart the Mac and see if issue persists
2. Click and hold on the downloading icon to see if it will give you the delete X in the upper left corner of the icon
New to the Mac and Running beta software and installing all manner of 3rd party Apps, then coming to a public forum with your problems. Duh... you'll have problems.
