Unable to customize standby mode on my iPhone 13

I'm having trouble customizing the standby mode on my iPhone 13. I'm trying to change the appearance of my screen while in standby mode. The widget and photo album pages work fine, but the clock page isn't responding to a long tap. I didn't have this issue before, but now it seems stuck on the last design I chose.

Here's what I did:
1. Went to standby mode.
2. Swiped right to page 3 with clocks.
3. Long-tapped (held) the center of the screen.

Expected: Enter edit mode to choose colors/views.
Actual: Nothing happened.

I just tried this on my phone a nd a long tap let me into the gallery to select which widgets show up when I swipe up or down.

Have you tried to restart your iPhone? That would be the first thing that I would try.
