troubles

I'm under OSX 10.4.3 and from about 15 days, very often any application quit as soon it is launched. After 2 or 3 try it works well but its annoying.
I did a complete clean reinstall of the system, wiping the driver etc. And I still have the same troubles. Looks also as if I have some memory troubles. Weird !!!
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Michel and Welcome !

Have you got the Tiger Retail DVD or System Disks that came with your Mac ?

Either way if you reboot with the install disk in the drive, hold down the option key, and wait for the list of bootable devices appears...then select "Apple Hardware Test"

Once it comes up run the tests and we'll see if it's a hardware issue...

I did run the "Apple Hardware Test" and there is apparently no hardware issue. I did swap the RAM memory chips in case of....

Hi there !

Is there any pattern to it ?

Does it happen more with certain Apps ?

Do you have much free space left on your Hard Drive ?

Have you 'modded' the System in anyway or is it just a straight forward OS ... no Shape Shifter or anything like that ?

Waht happens if you create another user account and use your Apps in that, does it still behave the same ?
