I hope somone in here can help as i'm getting a little desperate
When i connect the Verbatim HDD via USB there's no problem (So this is not a format issue). But as soon as i plug it into my Router to access it wirelessly the problem occurs:
I can see the HDD on my mac. I can access the files to view the pictures or movies on the HDD. But i cannot write on it. When i try to create a new folder, it first asks me for my admin password. When I enter it, it tells me that I do not have permission to do it.
When I click "View Info" on the HDD and see under "sharing and permissions" it says: "You have special access."
Normally i would be able to change this, so i would have read/write permission, but in this case i can't change a thing. Not even the name of the HDD showing on my mac.
Furthermore: In the Disc Utilities tool the hdd is nowhere to be found.
Hope someone in here can help me. Thank You.
