trouble installing OSx on a G5

I have a used G5 and bought OSx Snow Leopard. With the install CD in the drive I press c at boot but keeps going to signin for previous network user. I tried Option but it only shows the hard drive. Is there a way to wipe the drive without logging in, I don't know the user or password.

• I found the solution: This will allow creation of another admin account.
• Follow exactly.
  
  mount -uw /
  Press enter and then.
  rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
  Press enter again then type
  shutdown -h now
  
  Follow those steps exactly and then it will work.
