I have finally worked out how to set mail on Mac mini to show every email in the inbox and sent folders, and not use conversations.
I dont know how I have done it, and trying to copy the setting on my Mac mini to my MacBook Air isn't working. I must have used a setting I cannot remember.
To expand on this.
On Mail on my laptop the sent folder for one of the accounts shows the recipient, yet the very same folder on my Mac mini shows my name, not the recipient.
When I look in 'All Inboxes' its shows a different view to the inbox of one of my accounts. I see email account sent emails in 'all sent', but not in the actual email account they belong to.Why can't it all be the same view whether in inbox or sent, or 'all' and individual accounts?
Can email signatures be transferred between devices and the right signature per email account be transferred.
So simply, is there a way to transfer my viewing settings on Mail on my Mac mini to Mail on my laptop.
TIA

There may not actually be a way to exactly duplicate the settings. For a long time I have been aware that native apps in macOS are slightly different on Desktop Macs to MacBooks. Today there are even different app versions between iPhones and iPads ie. iOS and iPadOS. I don't use Apple Mail on any of my devices so I can't really suggest any fixes but I do understand your frustration.

I use Spark Desktop on my Mac but it's a subscription based app and may not suit everyone. There is however Spark Classic on the App Store which is free. I did have a look at Mozilla"s free (donation ware) new Thunderbird app yesterday. It looks really good, it's open source and free from bells and whistles like AI assistants and whatnot while retaining a lot of my favourite features. Sadly there is no iOS version to date. Edison Mail is also very good.

Hello! Try this variation: To match your Mac Mini, go to Mail > Preferences > Viewing on your MacBook Air and uncheck "Organize by Conversation." Unfortunately, Mail doesn't automatically sync viewing settings or signatures between devices, so you'll have to manually adjust the settings and recreate signatures on each device to keep everything consistent.
