Transferring Files From iPhone To New Memory Stick ?

Hi,

Thanks for all the previous help.
Blame it on my age now, but am stumped with this.

I have over 2,000 photos on iPhone.
Want to share with another party; way too much to send them via e Mail.

So, I bought one of these USB style sticks that has one end to plug into the iPhone, and the
other end being a normal USB male to plug into a pc.
O.K. So, I plug it into the iPhone.

No (new) indication that the iPhone has seen it.

The Select Items box shows on the bottom, so I can select 1 or a few.
But that's it.

I can also do a select ALL, but not sure if this really worked. No check mark or other indication.

If someone could take pity on me, and please run me thru all the steps to transfer to my new memory stick,
would be most apprecitive. Blame it on old age, very, now.
