Transfering videos to DVD format

I have lots of videos I would like to transfer to =DVD format. Are there any easy programs or equipment to purchase to do this easily and cheaply??

I have a Mac Book Pro with OSX 10.8.

There are a few on the App Store, or Toast. I use iDVD but that's no longer shipping.
