Touch Bar Disappeared

My touch bar has been working but when I turned on my 2017 MacBook Pro the touch screen is blank and I have not been able to find how to activate it. How do I activate it? Thanks.

I would suggest you power it down (i.e. switch off completely) and re-boot. Seems to cure most problems with electronics!

Reseting the SMC worked for me, bringing the strip back alive... But as soon as it finished all the reboot process, it was gone again. I do noticed that the LCD is turning on a little bit strangely... It might be a faulty lcd...
