SOLVED system files

cloned ssd with sierra, 230 gbs, 3 wks later there are 410 gbs: 380 gbs, in system files 13.8 itunes, applications 4.32, ios files 7.01 and docs 3.08 gb what is going on with system files and how to reverse / prevent

tech tool was the cause .. dont know how but could only find it in reference, seemed to be hidden some where....discovered an app called omni sweep, it high lighted tech tool, location and size checked to make sure it wasnt system needed and trashed it...... removed close to 500 gb from all the externals what a relief....
