Syncing iCal to Outlook 2011 Mac

Folks,

I am running the latest version of Lion with Outlook 2011 for Mac. My principal calendar is maintained on Google as it syncs quite well with Pocket Informant. Despite many attempts I am unable to sync iCal with Outlook 2011. Google syncs quite well with iCal via a utility, but despite setting sync services to on, Outlook 2011 does not sync with iCal. Can anyone offer suggestions here?
