Trying to burn an ISO disc image onto Verbatim DVD +R DL media (2.4x), MacBook Pro 4 on OSx 10.6.2 using:
MATSH1TA DVD-R UJ-867:
Firmware Revision:HA13
Interconnect:ATAPI
Burn Support:Yes (Apple Shipping Drive)
Cache:2048 KB
Reads DVD:Yes
CD-Write:-R, -RW
DVD-Write:-R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW
Write Strategies:CD-TAO, CD-SAO, DVD-DAO
When I start the burn, it appears to be working, progresses from Starting Session > Burning > Finishing Burn, takes about 30 minutes then gives me "Disc drive is unavailable. It may have been disconnected." Then I can't even eject the DVD until I reboot, it's weird. After all this, there is no data on the disc when I reinsert it. Any help?
