In discussion with our youngest son yesterday, I mentioned if he needed an external SSD for additional storage. He said yes, that he'd be interested. I then told him that I had recently purchased the excellent Samsung 860 EVO 500 gig SSD (along with a nice, slim Orico enclosure), and that I saw the SSD on sale at Best Buy (part of Black Friday here in the US) for $74.99 + tax, with free shipping/store pickup. I also told him I got it about 6 weeks ago at Best Buy for $79.99 + tax. It normally retails for $110. Well, he found it on Amazon for $72.99 + tax. Here are the links:

Orico Enclosure at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M08LCX.../SSD Tool Free [UASP Supported] Black(2189U3)
I have 3 of those enclosures, and they work very well.
Also, I am definitely finding that SSD lives up to all the positive reviews it has had. And I highly recommend it.
