Status Bar cannot be removed

Hi,

I have just joined to solve this annoying program.
This bar shows the status of what I clicked all the time.
I suspected Virus Barrier 6 that I used with a serial purchased.
However, what people usually say is the bar that shows the network data rate, which is not to me.
It shows the detail of the selection.

As it can seen on the picture added, If I click Aug 28, 2013, it indicates the selection and shows the detailed information on the bar.

Probabaly related, when I open a page, and scroll down, it soon scrolls up.

I guess it is a virus or spy ware which Virus Barrier can not find, or just a simple miss setting.

Hope that anyone figues out this.

firstly get rid of this if you can, it will be aversely effecting your Mac and adds no value.

I can't see the picture, if this is in Finder
Under the View Menu there is Hide Path Bar and Hide Status Bar.

There is a size issue on the upload. I'd add it downsized. It doesn't seem like a FInder Status Bar.

It was solved. It appears with voiceover function on. You can toggle on/off by command F5.
