Sometimes My Mail App Crashing or Freezing... what should I do?

Sometimes, macOS updates contain bug fixes for issues like Mail app crashes. The Mail app uses a preferences file to store settings. If this file becomes corrupted, it may cause the app to behave unpredictably, such as freezing or crashing on launch. What should I do, I want a pure method to solve my problem without facing any serious situation. Its Limited storage or memory can cause the Mail app to struggle, especially when handling large mailboxes or attachments.

There may not be one perfect solution to your problem, there are several possible causes, some I cannot see and some that may be beyond your control such as your ISP and email providers. You could try "Rebuilding" Mail or Reinstalling your macOS or even swapping to a third party email client. Personally I use Spark and despite recent improvements in Apple's Mail app I continue to because it suits my needs and seems to have less problems across all my devices.
