Hi al, new to Macs. Have an iMac intel 3.06 with 500G HDD. The 21.5 inch with 256MB Ram.
I have recently switched to Mac and have given my PC (Vista with all updates, home edition)to my daughter. I have managed to set up the Mac to share the PC files, and the PC to use the Mac's printer. I can not get my Mac to see the shared files on the PC however. I have followed the instructions on the websites and my Mac shows the PC in the shared section in Finder, but when I try to connect it says connection failed. I can not figure out why. Vista is set to share everything and my Mac can see it, why won't it connect? I run norton 360 and wonder if it is firewall, but not sure how to change it so it will accept if that's what it needs!

Help!!

Shrimpy:)
