I was using my computer a couple of days ago when it suddenly turned off. I attempted to press a key, move the mouse, and even press the power button but nothing worked. When I plugged it in to charge it, the light immediately turned green and stayed that way. When I took it out and tried to do anything, nothing worked again. I found out yesterday that only my macbook could be turned on while being charged, and when I take the charger out, it shuts off. I noticed the battery wasn't a bar, but an "x" instead. If anyone could tell me how to fix this problem so i can take my mac somewhere other than 3 feet away from a power outlet, that would be great.
