What is the build number for macOS 15.2? (It should be 24C101). If anything lower, you may have to reinstall Sequoia. But first, try to reindex Spotlight, either from Terminal or third-party app. My choice is Onyx. For heavy-duty searches, I use Find Any File. With the 15.2 upgrade, I suddenly can't use Finder to search for anything and my Photo Library is all messed up by Favorites. What am I doing wrong?
Those are pretty much my default settings except for Spotlight index which speeds up searches while cleaning out expired links. Mailboxes in Mail is effective whenever you see any issues with Mail sorting. Desktop volume positions I almost never use because I have my Desktop arrangement in pristine shape. .DS_Store files have their advantages and disadvantages. My choice would also be OnyX its free from the developer here; https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html
Having said that "Maintenance" from the same developer here; https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/maintenance.html is probably all you need.

You can safety run all of the standard set of tasks just add "Spotlight index" in the optional actions. I have never needed to do this so I cannot say how long it might take, could be a while as noted at the top. With OnyX the System restarts on completion, not sure about Maintenance.
It’s more likely that Elon will sue Titanium over it. “X” is such an ambiguous concept—he should have made it “Ego.”Thanks for that informative description of the actions Tony, and I agree, OnyX had that X trademark symbol years before Twitter changed hands and became X but I don't suppose Titanium Software is up to taking Elon to court over it. Silly thing is, people still call thier posts "Tweets" dunno why he bothered.
