Search any Search virus

Hi
I have this virus on my 2016 iMac and would love to get rid of it.
I searched here but nothing came up. Running the latest software.

I have found a ton of info on a regular search but most wanting me
to download a new program. Not sure what is safe or the best.

Would appreciate help on removing it. I'm not real tech savvy but get by ;o)

Two excellent programs you can try are:

1. Malwarebytes, available from here:

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

It does an admirable job of detecting adware/malware (and of course removal).

2. ClamXav, available from here:

https://www.clamxav.com/

This program can go "deeper" than Malwarebytes, and you can use it in demo (ie, free) mode.

Run Malwarebytes first, then ClamXav.
