SD création for Retropie

I am trying to create a SD Card from an image on the Retropie site. I have downloaded it several Times but I cannot get to run. It downloaded ok but when
I double-click on it nothing happens. I have an IMac 2014 running MacOS Sur. Other programme have downloaded and run ok. It appears to be similar
to other .IMG files. Perhaps one of your members could try to download and report success. Perhaps I am doing something wrong. I tried it on a later
IMac and it did work a couple of Times.

What software are you using to burn your images?
I use Balena Etcher or Raspberry Pi Imager to do this.

Am using Pi imager. It downoads ok but cannot install. Double-click on it does not work

Which retro pie image are you downloading?

Model. Pi-3. Raspberry Pi 2/3/Zero 2 w

OK, I have just downloaded that image and burned it to a micro SD card, using Raspberry Pi imager, with no problems.
Did you unzip the file before starting?
