Safari update and Silverlight

Safari - I just updated it (9/30/18) and now Silverlight is unsupported. And Safari/Preferences/Security no longer has an option to allow plug-ins. How can I watch Amazon Prime or Netflix (Uses Silverlight) or is there a way to reverse the Safari update?

When you say you updated Safari, was that with updating to Mojave, OS 10.14? If it was, then according to this site:

Silverlight is not yet compatible with Mojave (I have posted this numerous times about checking that site for compatibility of applications with various Operating Systems). If you have any other third party applications, you might want to check on their compatibility also.
