Safari hangs up after Cmd-F search

Since installing Safari update 6.1.1, I have a problem with some, not all, websites. Safari has a search feature: hit Cmd-F and a little window opens into which you can enter a search term and search the open site. But 6.1.1 seems to have a bug: On many sites (not all), not only the search doesn't work, but attempting a search freezes the screen so you can't scroll up and down. Anyone else have this problem? How do I tell Apple about this bug?

but ensure you have done the reset Safari things under the Safari menu first.
