Reminders App Legibility

Is there any way to upsize the typeface in the Reminders app? I couldn't find anything in the prefs regarding this and I find the type size too small for easy legibility unless I up the resolution on my 27" iMac w/Retina. I prefer to use it in it default settings.

Unfortunately, you can't change the font size in Reminders. There were some posts around the Internet forums that explained a hack in which you have to go into the Reminders app package and edit a file, but that could make the text not render properly, and would be overwritten by any future updates of the Reminders app.
