Recommendation for simple network monitor

Hi there,

I have OS X 10.3.9. and need to be able to answer the following question:

Q. How many megabytes have I downloaded(uploaded) from the internet on my mac over the last day, week, or month?

Does anyone have a recommendation of a free (or free trial) tool which will enable me to answer this? Or even better, anyone know the command/script I could run in Darwin which will enable me to answer my question?
