Realplayer hangs

I tried to play some video clips (rmvb files) on realplayer in my new iBook but it frequently hangs a few minutes into the clip. I do not have this problem when I play the same clip on my older iBook. Does anyone have any idea why this happens and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Can you let us know what version of Real Player you have and what version of OS X is on your Mac ?

Thanks for your reply. I am having problems using Realplayer 10 in the new iBook, which is a 1.33MHz G4 machine with 512 RAM. It is running on Mac OSX 10.4.7

The older iBook - which ran Realplayer fine - was a 600MHz G3 with 640 RAM. It ran on Mac OSX 10.3.9
