It looks like there have been a number of software updates these last 2 days. First, of course, was the release of a new version of Sierra, OS 10.12.5, yesterday. One can either get the "full" one from the App Store, or the OS 10.12.5 Combo Updater from here:

Next, there are at least 4 updates today for software I use:

3. Opera Browser: http://www.opera.com/computer/mac

OS 10.12.5 seems to be running fine, as are all my apps.
