Am getting web app banner that QuickTime plugin crashed. This just started this past week and happens with both Chrome & Safari on new iMac under Mavericks 10.9.1. Couldn't find anything on it on web. Haven't changed anything on system (that I know of).

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi,

That is usually caused by a Browser Plugin, especially in Chrome, but also occurs in Safari. Try turning off plugins one at a time. And check results.

Works fine here.
I'd say you have a corrupt version of the file stuck in the cache.

download Resources/train_1.wav locally and see if it plays with QT from Finder.

Yes, both work, one on web server and local one on my machine.

You're right, Just Updated my Chrome Version to 32.0.1700.77
and it now crashes QT on that File.

It's a Google Chrome bug, there seems to be a lot of comments on their forums about it.

Glad to hear it's not just me! I just tried complete uninstalling the whole frickn good chrome thing; did reinstall and still no good. Switching back to Safari until it's straightened out. Thanks a helluvalot for suggestions.
